| Finally found a stinkin computer!!! |

Hola all!
Well I'm here at Ft. Sill, filling out Tons of paperwork, and getting poked with needles and getting shots. I finally found a computer I had access to today, so I'm updating my blog and catching up on email. Unfortunately, I can't install a messenger on this system (no privelages) but hopefully when I get to Huachuca, I'll know where I'm going and get my own system.
Ok, now for the update on me: I finally got new uniforms, only 2 however, because the army is almost OUT of green ones! They've only been making the tan sets (I wonder why!??!?) and so they are limiting who gets new ones. I've been going through reception, updating paperwork, getting ID card, got 5 shots, and lots of blood drawn (that was a fiasco) and have qualified with my trusty M16 A2 rifle. 33 out of 40 (not too bad eh?) I will be leaving Ft. Sill sometime next week. All we have to do is finish up our Common Tast Training, and then I'm off to do refresher training at Ft. Huachuca. I'm not quite sure how long I'll be there, but I know a week before I graduate where I'm going to. The 'rumor' or 'educated guess' I've been getting from people is that I'm either going to Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, or if I'm lucky, I'll stay in Florida where the unit I'll be with is out of.... Keep your fingers crossed for Florida!!! But the realistic thing is, Justin, you're gonna get your turbin.... :?
I've met some other people here in the same sit or worse than me. There's 6 of us here right now, the other 4 are AWOL. 2 Lt. Col. got called up, a Major who had been out of the army for 15 years, and a Colonel who had been out 20... There's another SPC here with me, she has a 17 month old son whom she had to leave. We also have 2 Sgts here that are leaving their families as well. We all have our own story to tell, but we're dealing with it, and have been making the best of the ordeal. There doesn't seem to be any ryhm or reason to this call-up, but it's the Army, no suprise there!!!
I miss you all very much and as I get time I will call you and say hi!!!
Mahoney, I know about Dakota, don't stress too much, and thank you for doing all you can to look for her. It means a lot to me and I'm sure it does to the gurls as well.
Bren, hope the candles haven't driven you crazy yet. please call me any time w/ questions!!!
For everyone else~more messages later! I'm being kicked of the puter.... write more when i get to my next location!!! :wink:

well ill just hope and pray you go to florida and ill tell justin he can live without the turbin:P everyone is good here wed davin told me "we go to kendra's house!" so see we are all thinking aboiut you even the little ones;) but everything else here is good. noel stands on her own now untill something catches her eye. guess she has my attention span!! kevs been working alot lately moving to the new building. scotts been fixing jay anns tractor and mowing for her. and the goober men cancelled poker night cause they wanted to play COH like they do everynight since it came out. see what happens all the fun stuff left with you well we love you and hope all goes well!! ps typing this fast before noel attacks so please disreguard any typos!!!

Good to see ya got to the computer and it was nice talking to ya today. It sounds like the US Army has not changed a bit...........

well saw the new office to day pretty snazzy!! noel played in a box in kevs office why justin unpacked a bit and kev checked the server room. since, the server room has a little bit of an ac problem;) we even sat noel and davin at the head of the BAC room(big ass confrence) a took pictures. so check out noels web page when ever you get a chance should at least make you laugh a bit!!! well we love you and wish you well!!!

Hey! glad to see you got to use the computer for a minute!! I got a message that you called over the weekend THIS MORNING!! My phone is messed up ( ummm they should really make a phone that is toilet proof.....) Anyhow we miss and love you much.. Hope you are able to call again soon... Love ya LOTS!
