I'm in Germany

Hi all, I made it to Germany. I'm now staying at Rein-Main AF base, next to the Frankfurt Airport. I will be staying here until my bags show up (hopefully today), then I will be waiting for a flight outta here, more than likely on a C17. Normally I would be happy to stay here longer, but it's not that great where they're having us stay, and we've been told that our time doesn't start until we get to our unit in Afghanistan, so I wanna get there, get settled, get working, so I can get home!
I miss you all so much. I have dealt with some hard stuff in the past, but this is undoubtedly the hardest yet. I only hope the time goes by fast and my body and mind can make it through. LOL I feel like an old woman!
Well I am going to let another soldier use the computer now, I will blog when I find out I'm leaving, if I get the chance. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Yo! Glad to see your post. Change is tough and hopefully when you get into a routine things will look better. Please take care of your health and sleep when you can. God Speed Kid......Love, DAD

you are one of the strongest people i know and don't you forget it. you have accomplished so much in your life this is just a new chapter. think of the stories. miss you bunches.

Hey Kid!
I was surprised to see you "up and about" - We were glad to her from Tim that you'd arrived, sans luggage unfortunately, and with no sleep. You must be running on pure adrenaline. Guess you will have to adopt Grandpa's philosophy when he was in the Army - if you're standing still, sleep.... if there's food, eat - you may not get a chance again for a long while! 'Hope conditioins get better for you soon!!!
