I'm on the space available list now for my flight. There isn't another one going to Afghanistan until the 12th, and it goes to Kandahar, where we'd have to convoy up to Bagram, so we're staying until the 13th, when a flight to Bagram leaves.
Hopefully I'll get on that flight, but we'll see!

Its too bad that you are being delayed so much, but at least its in Germany where you can (I hope) relax a bit still. If they let you off base up there... I hear Germany has good beer so do some sampling ;).

have a good plane ride...I am glad you enjoy them and don't have the irrational fear of planes i do!!
