Helping the Afghan Women

Many people have emailed me with questions on helping Afghan women after I posted about the school supplies I plan on taking to local schools. I have not found anything here on the compound that does this for women of Afghanistan yet, but I did find several websites for aid. There are many ways you can help, from spreading the word, writing a letter, to donating funds or buying crafts.

These sites have ideas for how to help, what to send and how to send it. Some people prefer to send money but if you want to ensure that what you send is real, buy your own items and go through an organization like FEMAID.

Hi Kendra,
Like you all we hear is the bad stuff that is happening over there. I keeps us scared and worried about you. But that is what what people seem to thrive on. My eta for leaving for Finches is 5 days. We are planning a baby hello for Austin, Kim and Travises little one. Other than that it is the same croquet shoot out. Your Dad is the defending champ. Should be a fun time. Love and kisses FGM

HI FGM, Don't worry bout me, I'm to onry to have something happen!!! and I've had too much uncle training! Have fun at the BBQ wish Tim and I could be there!!! Hopefully next year!
