Crayons have been delivered

Well I saw "jimmy" today, huddled in a corner with a girl, maybe his sister, drawing on a piece of paper garbage with a blue pen. Perfect opportunity, as there were no other children around but the two of them, and he was drawing!!
He waved at me and I got the crayons out and walked over. I handed him the crayons and he looked at them and then me like 'what the hell is this?!?!' I motioned to him to draw, and he looked like he kind of got it, so we'll see how he acts if I see him tomorrow.
Thats about the only thing today that happened that I feel good about. I worked hard all day to be told that 'oh we changed our minds, we don't need that anymore' and to go to the gym and be the most out of shape, fattest person there. It was humiliating.
I'm going to go to the safehouse and crawl in a hole now. :(

Crayola's are the perfect gift for anyone, even adults. I've become very attached to my crayola's in my adult years as well. I hope he creates beautiful things with them.

You should be used to the 'we changed our mind' type of thing from working here in Austin ;) I think its expected to have that happen at least every two days at this company!

I feel your pain on the working out thing too. Ive been trying to get myself back into running lately and its always a bit embarassing when some junior high kids pass me, 2 or 3 times, as im wheezing my way through even just a mile jog. Its annoying how long it takes to get into decent shape, but it *will* get better :)

We all have to start somewhere getting in shape. Don't let them get you down. Your job is your job and getting in shape is for you not them. Cowboy but and get to that gym and show them!!! Lots of love from here.
