Although it's not really comparable, I remember how sick of everyone else I was after two years away at school (you have right to get sick of them faster, considering the circumstances). I wanted to crawl in a hole and not see anyone for a year! I got over it in a few months after I got back home. It's worse for you right now because you have that Christmas vacation coming up..... it's harder when there's and "end" in site even if it's only tempoary.... remember how rowdy school got just before a big vacation? I know you haven't been it tip top health lately either, and that doesn't help. The yoga type exercises, relaxing, and a funny movie now and then are the only prescription I know. Maybe there is a potential new friend in that new wave of folks??? The other possability is I could ship Murphy over there....she'd be good comapny on those cold nights! posted by: newbie (reply) post date: 10.22.04 (10:49 pm) Can't believe it is already Saturday for you. You always had a jump on the new day! We have snow here too and since I don't ski, it isn't anything I look forward to either. So like are the days getting shorter, too? This time of year for me makes me start my hibernation drill - you know hot soups and comfort food. I use this time to get rested up - not a bad thing. When I get bored, I try to learn something new - but I haven't been bored enough to learn knitting yet! Got any pumpkins for jack-o-lanterns? |
