Well it seems that cold weather has taken a beating on the compound.  about 75% of the people here are sick, including me. I've been to sick call 3 times to get medicine for my sinus/cold thing. I specifically told them to give me guinefsine (sp?) and nothing that was sudafed. So until yesterday I had been taking something I thought was what I had asked for. I went back yesterday because I was worse, and said I've had sinus surgery, please just give me guinefsine.  He said, well we usually give you sudafed and guinefsine together in one pill. WTF!?!?!!? One dries you up and the other makes it looser, can you say CANCEL EACH OTHER OUT!?!?!?

So I explained once again I could not have sudafed, and he gave me some straight guinefsine (I think). i woke up tonight with a horrible headache and don't have great balance, so I think I'm still pretty plugged up.

Everyone is walking around here like zombies.

I also found out why the food here is so crappy. Every 2 months, KBR gets a shipment of frozen food stuff. I was wondering where they did all their cooking, so I 'accidentally' wandered into the 'kitchen' yesterday. There are 3 big microwave looking things and freezers. One of the 'cooks' admitted to me, everything comes over in a frozen pan and they just pop it in. NO WONDER ALL OF IT SUCKS SO BAD!!!!
